The program is based on the world-famous Murray method, which helps people who have experienced violence and various psychological traumas. Marilyn Murray, the author of the method, experienced sexual violence during the war at the age of 8 (in 1944), and in 1980 developed a method that helps not only to survive trauma but also to restore health.

In 2002, a group of activists decided to help people affected by various psychological trauma, violence, deprivation, and addiction. They began to form a team that developed and trained in these areas.

In 2005, the charitable organization "Vikhid Ye!" was officially registered. We brought together specialized doctors and qualified psychologists to provide professional help to people.

In 2006, our team gained specialized knowledge at the ISAAK addiction consultant school, which allowed us to professionally assist people.

Since 2007, we have been actively working with people who have experienced sexual, domestic, and gender-based violence (GBV); conflict-related violence (CRSV), gaslighting, mobbing, victimization, those suffering from drug addiction, alcoholism, and gambling addiction; those living with HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis; relatives and close ones of people with addictions; families raising a child with special needs and vulnerable groups.

Since 2010, we have started research activities on the impact of trauma on the lives of individuals and communities, as well as developing modern programs for mental health recovery and providing social support to those affected.

Since 2014, after the beginning of military aggression in Ukraine, we have started providing psychosocial assistance to civilians affected by the war, including veterans.

Since February 24, 2022, after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, we have been actively providing psychosocial support to civilians affected by the war. We are also working on strengthening public safety, building peace, and social cohesion in Ukraine.
